JoyCut Terms of Service

Applies to the JoyCut iOS app and related services

Please read these Terms of Service before using JoyCut. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using JoyCut, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. JoyCut uses Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA).

1. Scope of These Terms

JoyCut is an iOS app that creates transparent-background stickers from photos and organizes them by date. These Terms describe your rights and responsibilities when using the JoyCut app, Pro features, cloud backup, and related services.

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a matter concerning the license to use the app, the Apple Standard EULA will control.

2. Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service based on product plans, technical conditions, or compliance requirements. We will try to provide reasonable notice when appropriate.

JoyCut may provide a limited set of features at no charge. Free users may be subject to limits such as a daily capture allowance. The limits displayed in the app apply.

4.4 Refunds and Billing

Apple handles JoyCut's in-app purchases, subscriptions, billing, and refunds. Submit refund requests, billing disputes, and payment method questions through Apple's official channels. We cannot access your complete payment information or bypass Apple's refund process.

5. User Content and Acceptable Use

You retain the lawful rights to content you photograph, create, and save. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process any image you use with JoyCut. You agree not to use JoyCut to:

If we determine that you have violated these Terms or applicable law, we may reasonably restrict, suspend, or terminate related features and cooperate as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Except for user content and third-party materials, the JoyCut app, interface design, brand, icons, code, copy, and related service content belong to JoyCut or the applicable rights holder. Without authorization, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or otherwise use them.

Personal sticker content you create with JoyCut belongs to you or the original rights holder. You are responsible for determining its lawful scope of use.

We process information as described in the JoyCut Privacy Policy. The policy explains the data we process, the purposes of processing, third-party services, cloud backup, your choices, and how to contact us.

8. Service Availability and Disclaimers

We work to keep JoyCut stable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times, in every region, or on every network. Some features depend on Apple, Alibaba Cloud, internet connectivity, device permissions, and App Store status, and may be affected by third-party changes, network failures, system restrictions, or review rules.

JoyCut is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable beyond what the law requires for losses caused by force majeure, third-party service failures, device damage, network interruption, user error, account problems, data synchronization conflicts, or unauthorized access.

9. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms when features, laws, platform requirements, or operational needs change. The updated page will show a new revision date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice in an appropriate place.

You may stop using JoyCut at any time. If you no longer accept these Terms, stop using the app and cancel any subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings as needed.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, except where mandatory conflict-of-law rules require otherwise. The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the JoyCut service through good-faith discussion. If the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
